Biography

Jae Hyun Lim is an assistant professor of architecture and he has joined the School of Public Architecture at Michael Graves College since 2020. Born in Korea, after spending his early youth in Japan, he studied fine art, fashion, graphic design, and architecture in the United States. He is a graduate of the Cooper Union, New York, and a doctorial candidate at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. He has also attended the Southern California Institute of Architecture, Los Angeles; Fashion Institute of Technology, New York.

Prior to joining Wenzhou-Kean University, he has taught at the University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and other institutions for many years. He has been an active member of architectural education and cultural exchange in the region, creating and participating in various international symposiums, workshops, exhibitions, and design work. He also maintains his own architectural practice JHL Lab.
