Dean's Welcome
The Michael Graves College of Architecture and Design educates tomorrow’s generation of designers, architects, researchers, and scholars who aspire to make a resilient, just, and beautiful world. The social, political and economic direction of the second half of the 21st Century can only rely on an eco-conscious architecture of our societies. Design can only be the most important ingredient of responsible growth.
The education of future architects and designers at MGC is inclusive, rigorous, responsive, and engaged. It leads our students toward practices that seek to ameliorate societal urgencies by embracing complexity and constraints without a predetermined formal or technical approach.
