Biography
Lisa Perrine Brown is a former lecturer at the University of Michigan, where she taught courses on industrial design, packaging design, and design theory at the STAMPS School of Art & Design. She has over 20 years of experience as an industrial designer, working for corporate manufacturing companies such as Ford Motor Company and Fisher-Price, as well as consulting firms such as Altair Engineering. She has a MFA in Fiber & 3D from Cranbrook Academy of Art, where she focused on global issues, sustainability, and future trends.
Lisa is passionate about exploring the art and design. She has studied textile design at Konstfack in Sweden, and exhibited her woven tapestries and paintings publicly. She has also traveled extensively to gain a global outlook on life and design, spending several months in Europe and India. In addition to being a Product Designer, she is skilled in packaging, creative direction, graphic design, and has a knack for storytelling. Also, she has experience in luxury wine industry.
