Biography
Alicia is currently a lecturer at Wenzhou Kean University. She studied Architecture in Norway(MArch), Germany and New Zealand(BArch), and had practiced at Studio Makkink and Bey(NL), Opa Form(NO), Beca Groups(NZ) and Kengo Kuma and Associates(JP). Her research and practice are centered around vernacular typology, the materiality of wood, its tradition and contemporary expression, the theory of Open Form and relevant experimental design methodology. She started to practice independently after coming back to China with her studio based in Dali, Yunnan.
