Lecture | JUST DON’T BUILD: IMAGINATIVE REUSE

Abstract:

We do not need any more buildings. Instead, we need to reuse and reimagine the built environment we have inherited in such a manner that it is more open and accessible. We need to uncover and heighten the past to help us understand where we are, where we have come from, and where we are going. This is the only truly sustainable mode of architecture. This lecture will show beautiful examples of such imaginative reuse.
